I love Kumquat season! And I couldn’t resist figuring out how I might use them in a cocktail, but of course. 😉 While my fave is Sapphire Gin, I was trying out Aviation and it is quite nice. Not as herbaceous at Sapphire, but not as mild as Hendricks either – a good balance for when you are in the mood for Gin but nothing too overwhelming, also good for novice Gin drinkers.

Recipe:

2 oz @aviationgin
3/4 oz @cointreau_us
1/4 oz lemon juice
1/4 oz homemade simple
A few dashes of #feebrothers orange bitters
1 sliced kumquat for shaker and 1 for garnish
